Guest guest
Okay, again after a THREE day break, I had great workouts today... I ended up doing an extra long one to make up for one of my missed days.... Sawyer, my 3 year old was sick so I didn't have a chance to workout on one of the days.. I had to hold him all day long. Another day I was just busy and didn't feel like busting my butt to do it, and on another day I was lazy! SO..... I am starting fresh again. I think I may jump in with a 21 day challenge. If I have a rest day, it MUST be an active rest day.. like at least 30 minutes of yoga or something. When I take a day off I REALLY have a hard time doing a workout the following day. It's not in my head. It's proven..LOL.. Anyway, I'm very happy right now becuz I was able to workout a lot today... I did Turbo Jam Cardio party, then I did Cathe's rock bottoms, then I did Coremax 1, then I did Corey Everson's Get Hard Arms, and now I just did the 30 minutes of the dynamic strength & power..... So, I'm happy that I did that. I'm also happy becuz I FINALLY took the time to hook up a cheap DVD player in the basement which is one of the areas where I work-out.... AND while down there, I figured out how to get our dish to work too! We haven't had that working down there in months.... What a great evening LOL.... I've also decided to start drinking water. I've decided this many times and have yet to do it though... UGH.. I know it would help curve my appetite. Why is this such a problem????? I am also going to stop eating so many processed foods. My leniency isn't helping my butt at all....ha..ha... Anyway, does anyone want to try a challenge with me?? I'm going to attempt a 21DC (just now decided this), and also a water challenge...... Hope you all had a great workout today and have good ones tomorrow as well. Darcy Day 1 of 21DC

It's proven..LOL.. i sooo hear you!!! and, as always, im working on sticking to a daily workout routine... except i do feel like im trying much harder lately. i just need to vary the intensity of my daily workouts instead of trying to do hard stuff every single day and burning out. even throwing a stretch day into the middle of my week, just to keep my momentum going, is doing wonders! > I did Turbo Jam Cardio party, then I did Cathe's rock > bottoms, then I did Coremax 1, then I did Corey Everson's Get Hard > Arms, and now I just did the 30 minutes of the dynamic strength & > power..... What a great evening LOL.... cool! sounds fab! do you get fit-tv on your satellite dish? > Why is this such a problem????? i dunno.... some days i can chug water all day long and it tastes so darned good. other days i have to choke it down and just take it a cup at a time. and hey maybe that will help you... instead of measuring out a whopping 6 cups (or whatever) all at once, just pour one single 8 oz cup at a time. after doing that ive come to realize that one cup of water really isnt that much and i can drink it down pretty quickly, and all of those cups do add up quickly! and after taking it a cup at a time for quite a while, im now able to use 10 ounce cups and pour three of those into a bottle and drink it all down. so do keep working on it darcy! as with almost everything, the more you try to do it, the easier it will get. > Anyway, does anyone want to try a challenge > with me?? I'm going to attempt a 21DC (just now decided this), and > also a water challenge...... well, ive been trying to workout (in some way) every day this month and so far ive exercised 10 out of 11 days. im kicking myself for wimping out on that one day, but still im doing OK so i shouldnt beat myself up over it. so i guess im doing a 31 day challenge! LOL. anyway, i would be glad to join you! (so i formally CHALLENGE YOU!!! so, THERE! HA! and, as always, to support you as you complete your challenge. for the purpose of this challenge, i will also start counting my workout days starting with today... so im on #1 too then. will you please keep count for us? im also counting my workouts in order to achieve a yearly goal and if i have too many counters going at once i will get lost and confused...LOL anyway, as long as i do *something* every day... i dont even care what it is really... i will be thrilled and will actually manage to succeed for a change! concerning the water, i have a goal of 420 ounces a week (six 10 ounce cups a day)... but i look at it on a weekly basis because, like i said, some days i drink alot of water, and other days i drink less. also, if you dont mind artificial sweeteners, you might want to try some crystal light... that helps me to make my quota on some days -- or even just some lemon or lime added to the water. also, you might want to try to experiment with the temp of the water you drink... maybe try some room temperature water, some people find it easier to chug that back than freezing cold water. or vice versa, if you normally try to drink warmish water, then give the cold stuff a try. whatever floats your boat. but if you are struggling with something, then try a bit of a different approach and it might seem easier. also, once a day, i like to heat the water up and mix in a bit of diet hot chocolate mix or diet coffee mix and i count that cup of water into my daily quota. do you like to drink tea at all? that would certainly count as well. :*carolyn.
