Guest guest Posted June 27, 2008 Report Share Posted June 27, 2008 I have been on 400mg Gleevec since July 2006 and along with the joint/bone pain, nausea, fatigue, I had noticed slight hair loss. It was enough loss that I had to clean out the drain before I finished my shower, but that had been the most I'd noticed. I had very thick hair, so it wasn't noticeable to anyone else. However, this past week, I noticed it was in my hands when I washed my hair, which was different than before. I sleep on my right side mainly because of hip pain and now I've noticed a large patch of missing hair and it looks like the right side is noticeable thinner than the left side. My sister noticed also that my hair was starting to look really thin. I'm wondering how long before I have to go to a wig? I also have noticed my thick and long eyelashes are now so short and thin I can hardly pull my eyelid out with them. I wondered if anyone else was having this problem?
