Guest guest Posted June 27, 2008 Report Share Posted June 27, 2008 Hello Everyone, I have been on Gleevec for 3 weeks now.I take 4 100mg tablets daily.The last two nights I have woke from my sleep with excessive itching.I took Benadryl and went back to bed.I have also had excessive bruising(20 or so in unusual bruising locations)Lately.Is this a side effect from Gleevec? An allergic reaction etc? Or not related? Any ideas? My Onc appt is July 1st. My first follow up since Dx.Can anyone suggest questions for me to ask my DR?I really have no clue what types of questions I should be asking.I don't believe he is a CML specialist he doesn't offer info unless I ask specific questions.What should I be asking?
