Greg was so lucky to be able to attend the summit at Ohio State. It must have been an inspiring event for everyone in attendance. Lottie, as always, thanks for suggesting the Summit many months ago. I promise to upload some photos for everyone. I wanted to let you know a bit about the Summit and have compiled some day by day notes, part of the live updates, and some videos on the Carolyn's Hope website (www.carolynshope.org ... click on the LIVESTRONG SUMMIT RECAPS link). If you look close in video #2 near the end you might see my ugly mug talking about our goals following the Summit..green shirt. I will continue to place more information about the event going forward. Carolyn, my mom, was a valiant CML warrior who never gave up and LIVED every day. Her careteam always said the " room lights up when Carolyn's here! " She worked full-time throughout her entire journey (how??? who knows) and always wished the best for everyone on this journey. Although she's been gone for a bit over a year now, and many in the community have said our journey is over, I'm hear to say that it hasn't ended...it has just arrived at another destination. It is our prayer that each of you experience great results with your treatments and that one day we can all say that a cure has been found. Until that time, my family and I are committed to do all we can to help in the CML Community. We are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. As Matt shared from the LAF Manifesto...UNITY is STRENGTH.
