Guest guest
My husband hates those little seeds. I make a killer chipotle-raspberry sauce and for years I had to put it thru a chinoise to get rid of any trace if seeds. I just gave my expensive French chinoise to my friend. I no longer need it. The ViraMix gets rid of ANY of the seeds in any of those fruits. When I first got my VitaMix I didn't run it quite long enough for that to happen. I soon learned its good but not magic so instead of running it 15 seconds I run it 45 seconds. (you get my idea) smooth as silk, not a bit of seed left in a strawberry, raspberry, or others. Guest guest
Kat, I'm sorry I didn't answer your question or am able to. My machine and the one I commented on us the 5200. Aside. Our neighbors were having a large party yesterday. Loud, very loud, talking, music, laughing etc. it sounded like a great party. We had our dinner on the porch and it occurred to me that when we were young Memorial Day was a rather solemn holiday. We all bought paper mâché red poppies and went to decorate the graves at the cemetery. We did have burgers on grill with family (if you had family) but it was because the occasion of remembering the fallen included the family members who had died. That seems to have changed. Not that it's wrong, just different. Guest guest
Ah, I remember the quiet old days when it was in to visit cemeteries and pay respects followed by a small family gathering remembering those who passed. The stores were closed then too. You are right that now it is different. > > > Does anyone know if the new Pro 300 and Pro 750 pulverize the small seeds as well and fine as the 5200? Guest guest
Hello katg57,I would expect that the new machine will do as well or better than the 5200. There is a link called, "How to Blend Berry Seeds" here:/linksThat should apply to the new machines as well as the 5200… Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)www.BlenderLady.com(AKA the Vitamix Lady :-)<))>< On May 27, 2012, at 11:18 AM, katg57 wrote: Does anyone know if the new Pro 300 and Pro 750 pulverize the small seeds as well and fine as the 5200? Guest guest
You are welcome! I can't wait to get my hands on the new machine that Vitamix will be selling. It will be the Pro 300 with a different name (just like the pro 200 is the same machine as the 5200). I know that I could buy a Pro 300, but I want to wait to see if they are working out any production issues - and then of course, I don't get my employee discount if buying from 's Sonoma :-)Personally, I would never use pre-sets, so am not interested in the Pro 750.
