Hi Ted,

Your results are all within the limits of the test accuracy. They will

bounce up and down by half a log.

See if you can find out from your lab what they mean by being negative.

Hopefully they can express it as being a 4 or a 5 log reduction.

Subject: [ ] PCR and FISH readings

Hope everything is going all right with Lottie. She's right down the road

from me. I live in Lafayette which is in South Central Louisiana. I know

Houma was simply inundated by Gustav, like Galveston and the surrounding

area were with Ike.

My first PCR back in February was negative, my second was soemthing like

0.03%, the second 0.04%, and this last was 0.08%. (I'm 1182 in Zavie's Zero

Club.) The FISH was negative. I'm still not sure what all this means.

Should I be concerned. It will be a year and a half in Oct. since I was

diagnosed, and I will have a BMB. I feel pretty good generally, but I went

through a period right before I saw my oncologist where I had a cough, was

always tired (although I wouldn't say " fatigued " ). I thought it was the

meidicne or the disease, but as soon as I saw the oncologist I felt better,

which leads me to think it was psychological--the dread of what the doctor

might find in my checkup.

Anyway, any clarification would be helpful.

Ted
