Guest guest
I've worked out with machines at my gym and think they're wonderful...that was going to be our original purchase until DH discovered this Pro-Spot thing. It arrived today, I have not worked out with it yet but it looks really incredible. The bar is on a cable (so it's not so much straight up/down) and if you let go, it automatically stays there, as opposed to dropping it on yer foot! I have yet to work out with it, but I will be doing my UBWO Friday with it so I will let you know. It was definitely pricier than the , but with the weight stack to do pulldowns and pullups, to me it was well worth it. Jana > > We have one and just love it. It seems to for me. I get a great work out using it. I do squats and sometimes do my lunges with it.

Guest guest
Just curious. Why both? I thought a power rack made a machine unnecessary. Skip Dallen Covina, CA USA

Guest guest
Although I am anxious to get a Vitamix and am chomping at the bits to use one, I am still thinking I should wait to see if the new motor machines are better than the 5200 motors. Part of me wants to run to get the CIA one or to 's Sonoma to get the Pro 750 just to have one in my hands right now. But I am torn between the tried and true and then maybe the new is either better or not. Will the 5200 production be ended? Since I can only get one, guess I should just wait. I will be interested in what you feel about the new machine when you have one. > > > > Does anyone know if the new Pro 300 and Pro 750 pulverize the small seeds as well and fine as the 5200? I used a cheapie Ninja and had whole raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry seeds that really turned me off using them ever again. In looking for a Vitamix, that is one thing I'd like up front. Thank you. > > >
Guest guest
I am not sure what you have heard might be better about a new motor? I have owed first a 3600 and for the past 3 years a 5200 and never have had a motor problem and that spans more than 34 years of VM ownership. Am I missing something here? Guest guest
I have read that the new models have a motor that is cooled all the time by a fan not just at the high speed. > >>> > >>> Does anyone know if the new Pro 300 and Pro 750 pulverize the small seeds as well and fine as the 5200? Guest guest
Truthfully, I have used a VM since 1977, with the motor for high speed only and NEVER had a problem with that. I make smoothies to soups and ice cream and lots of other stuff and like I said, never a problem. I am not sure what the big deal with full time fan is. I have a 3600 Vm which still runs and got a brand new 5200 three years ago, just cuz it was pretty and I got tired of the old one, and both run great for all tasks.
