What to do with the air bubbles?

I got my Vitamix a month or so ago. I love it. The only thing that sort of

bothers me is all the air bubbles or foam in my smoothies. I like to make one

before I work out. I have troubles with my stomach getting upset during a

workout. My smoothie seems to work better than a usual breakfast, except I keep

burping up all that air now. When I'm not at the gym it's not a problem.

Any suggestions on how to reduce the air bubbles? The only thing I've tried it

not blending it as long. If the recipe says 30 secs then I try to whirl it

until I see everything has broken down.

Lynne

My workout smoothie

1 banana (for leg cramps)

1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk (trainer said to use it)

1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I don't get enough protein in my day)

1 cup of regular coffee (Jillian s suggested caffeine for a workout)

1 cup of ice

Whirl.
