Guest guest
Sue again (feedback) Vomiting I do not hold vomit back - I use vomit bags that you can seal and take with me everywhere - great support to know that they are there in my bag. I no longer vomit - it was quite a regular occurrence at one stage until I changed what I ate and the amount of food I ate with glivec. I take my glivec (600mg) with breakfast Plus not having breakfast straight away or after breakfast sitting back down or going back to bed, busy busy busy doing chores on my feet is the best regime for me. I carried a vomit bag that you can seal from the hospital. 100 bag package - cost I think around $40 Australian I still have a v/bag with me all the time just in case - but have not had to use for a very long time. Just gives you that assurance Eating - someone else stated that they thought they had become lactose intolerant while on glivec. I think that also happened to me - as I cannot take any diary, being milk, yoghurt, butter etc anytime within about 5 hours of glivec or I also feel nauseus, queezy and at times vomiting. My taste also changed to some foods to be a metallic taste. I don't know if you also may have felt more nauseus with some foods recently Matt Things to cross off the check list and change if need be Hope your appointment goes well and you can get to the bottom of the black out.
