Guest guest
Dear Group: & nbsp; After three months on Sprycel I have reached molecular remission, PCR Zero, and FISH Zero. & nbsp; I had to switch from Gleevec due to acquiring the G250E mutation. & nbsp; So far no really serious side effects. Some side effects I do have include fatigue and inability to concentrate to a certain extent. & nbsp; These are commonly reported side effects of Gleevec as well. & nbsp; I turn 61 next month, so maybe it's not totally fair to blame the meds for everything. & nbsp; How is everyone else on Sprycel doing? & nbsp; Best Regards, Carl & nbsp; town, PA, USA & nbsp;
Guest guest
Great news. We all all very happy for you. I have some side effects from Gleevec but I have been in Molecular Remission for 1 yr and 1/2 since I was dx'd in June 06. However we get there, as long as we get there. That is the bottom line. With all the research and trials one day CML will a thing of the past. Ceil (75- NYC) dx'd June 06 Gleevec 400mgs In Zavie's club. **************Vote for your city's best dining and nightlife. Guest guest
Hi Carl It is good to hear things are going better. You deserve a break and it appears by your numbers that is what is happening. Go ahead and blame the meds for your side effects. You are to young to blame nature, so use the drugs as long as you can.
