Guest guest Posted June 17, 2012 Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 I have no idea but I would think that one cup of seeds would make just a tiny amount of tahini, probably not near one cup.Here's a recipe that uses 3/4 pounds of seeds to make one and a half cups of tahini. Guest guest Posted June 17, 2012 Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 My guess is that 2 cups of seeds will make 1 cup of Tahini (just a guess mind you) but it is very likely that it will be hard to make Tahini with only 2 cups of seeds - usually you need at least 3 cups of nuts to prevent the air pocket from forming so rapidly that the blades have a hard time processing the nut butter. Not impossible, but more difficult than with 3 cups.
