I have the 64oz dry container that I purchased with my 5000. I now use it with my Pro 500 machine and it works fine. DebbieOn Jun 13, 2012, at 9:24 PM, Vizualized1 wrote:

Was looking for a dry container and saw one being sold and its a 64 oz dry container; however I noticed that there isn't a 64 oz dry container sold on the Vitamix website. I'm guessing its older, just want to make sure its something that was sold and not something fake. If its authentic.... will it fit the 5200 series?

It is authentic - we used to sell them as 64 oz. with the 5000 model. Yes - it will fit the 5200. DON'T make more than 4 cups at a time (I prefer only 1 cup at a time). We created the 32 oz. dry container (4 cups) because people were making more than 4 cups (and that was supposed to be the limit).
