Sparkpeople.com is a good one. You'll have to register for an account, but it's a completely free site that offers food tracking, exercising tracking, and a wealth of information on all kinds of health and fitness issues.   There's also an extended support community.. though it's up to you get involved or not... some really thrive on the social aspect.. others don't want to be bothered with it.  You can just pick and choose the tools you want to use -- the food tracker happens to be a good one.

I joined in Feb of last year.. lost 50 pounds by the end of the year (that's a lot when you're only 5'3 " !!).. by following their guidelines of baby steps.. one small healthy change at a time.. then building on it. Watched myself move from just barely obese, right through overweight and finally into healthy ranges for weight, bmi, blood pressure..  you get the idea.   I'm now working on maintaining that loss.  and part of that is continuing to explore healthier eating..  which brought me to VM and this group. 

Can't say enough good things about either site.. .. :)Crystal

Hi DebbieAren't those websites great for getting on track? I downloaded an app called Lose It! And kept track of calories as well as all my exercise. I lost about the same number of pounds as you did thanks to it! It's really good and has a very supportive community. It's not just a site for losing weight, there's setting for maintaining or even gaining. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ is a great place to track calories, weight and exercise. The database of foods is HUGE!
