Were can I found what each speed does on a vitamix machine. Thanks,kayNo virus found in this message.

Hello Kay,It depends on what you have in the container - carrots require a higher speed to chop than tomatoes. There is some good information here:http://blenderlady.com/recipes/ (review the chicken salad and the salsa recipes information)Thick batters like for brownies will require higher speeds than thin batters like for crepes.High is for ice cream, soup, nut butters, juice, etc.I rarely use variable 10 - I mostly use the lower variable speed (from 1 up to 5-6) and then I use high.Also review: http://blenderlady.com/faq/
