Guest guest
Dear , I have been on Sprycel for almost 2 years. I am on only 20mg bid and in a log 5 reduction. I too have put on 20 lbs. Drs tell me to lose it. I did the weight watcher thing with no results. I eat very little at meals and try not to snack. but the weight stays on. I have gone from a size 12-14 to 16-18 I figure this is just the way it is going to be. I will never complain though because without the sprycel and the unbelievable remission I would not be worried about weight because I wouldn't be here. It is a small price to pay for living. Guest guest
Thanks for the note, Anita. It's very frustrating. It seems to me that weight gain doesn't get the attention it should. I guess maybe they feel that we shouldn't be concentrating on something so " frivolous " compared to having our lives saved. I disagree. Cheers, [ ] Sprycel Diet Hi Everyone, I'm reporting in because I said I would but so far the trial nurse who's a liaison to BMS has failed to contact me about the company's stance on whether Sprycel affects weight gain and trouble with weight loss -- metabolism rates. I'll call her again tomorrow and try to get her to make this one phone call. You'd think there would be more interest in something that seems to affect a large number of people who take Sprycel!
