Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, I too understand that Sprycel is a lifesaver. However, I believe that working together with Bristol-Myers to find out what causes the weight gain could perhaps lead us to a way to lose the weight. Personal appearance is so important in this society and for our own self-esteem. Witness how important it is for women who take chemo for breast cancer to get nice wigs when they lose their hair. There's a national program that works specifically on that! We should never just take a side effect on as a " price " we have to pay to stay well. There may be something we can do. Cheers, [ ] sprycel diet Dear , I have been on Sprycel for almost 2 years. I am on only 20mg bid and in a log 5 reduction. I too have put on 20 lbs. Drs tell me to lose it. I did the weight watcher thing with no results. I eat very little at meals and try not to snack. but the weight stays on. I have gone from a size 12-14 to 16-18 I figure this is just the way it is going to be. I will never complain though because without the sprycel and the unbelievable remission I would not be worried about weight because I wouldn't be here. It is a small price to pay for living. God is so good to me carolyn_kuptz2000@... dx 11-
