I may be a day late and a dollar short, but the message is the same and I sincerely hope that you had a fantastic day. My 53rd is coming up in October. Believe me when I say I never thought I would live to see my 50th, I think all of our anniversaries should be celebrated as having beat the dragon back for another year. Sometimes it seems like I am paddling a boat with only one paddle. It takes longer to get there, but you never give up. I think a number of us have failed to look into our own backyards when we are looking at history or entertainment. I have heard people who live in NY who have never been to the Statue of Liberty or people who live in Washington and have never been to the sonian. There are places tucked away that only tourists go to see. The old saying that you can't see the forest for the trees is true. Good that you are discovering what wonderful sights there are to see in and around Chicago.
