Guest guest
Cheryl, I was given Protonix by my regular doc and Nexium by the ENT. I am going to give one a try, just to heal stuff up a bit - short term. I need to test our home for mold. We also need to get our vents cleaned out. Thank you for the response! No, that does not sound good. I hope you get the answers you are needing and can heal soon. Hugs and prayers, Lynn Re: ENT Lynn, He's on Protonix, but if he really payed attention to his throat, body, environment, sinuses,/ h/a; he'd realze his symptoms ababte when out of our Moldy home! Guest guest
, How did you do on the Nexium? It sounds like it didn't work well. I am thinking I only want to take it for a very short while, just to heal the damage that is done. I would not do a gallbladder removal, no way jose! Thanks so much for the advice. Lynn Re: ENT Hi Katy,Just an FYI. I am not a doctor but i have been treated for Acid reflux with Nexuim for the past year or so. When it wasn't working the doctor increased the dosage. It wasn't until I went to the gastro doctor that they put me on something called Carafate. It is basically just a crazy dose of Maalox but in pill form. It is used to coat the stomach and protect ulcers even though I do not have any. This has calmed my stomach issues, for now. I have had endoscopies, gastric empty scans and everything else that they could think of but the tests all came back negative so because they an not explain it they are writing it off as Acid Reflux or GERD. Just please be careful what they give you and what procedures they want to put you through. They want to do a gall bladder scan next but at this point there is no doubt that this is all be caused somehow by my implants and all the tests in the world are not going to fix anything until I get these things removed. Again please do whatever you have to take care of yourself but be careful as well as to what they want to do to you.> > > I saw the ENT today and she put a scope up my nose> > and down through my throat and viewed my voice box. > > She diagnosed me with GERD or silent acid reflux. > > She prescirbed Nexium. Guest guest
Hi, Can you please double check the spelling of clindimyacin? I tried to look it up, but nothing came up other than some forums. I'm curious about this antibiotic. I'm trying to put togther a binder with all that my son has been going through complete with timelines, labs, symptoms, and possible treatment options to present and discuss with his doctors. I have only just started to put the pieces together and have requested his full medical records. I'm starting to feel like I need to become the expert now since there are so many unknowns. I personally am very wary of antibiotics. For 99.9% of the population they are miracles, but my sister had a terrible experience with Cipro and is has robbed her of the last two years of her live, causing neurological damage. After watching her go through this, I am exteremely cautious, after researchng the Cipro, we have found that a small segment of the population develops MS type side effects that can go on for years...but that's for another forum! However, I definitly would like to research this drug, clindimyacin. From what I have read in forums it seems to be commonly used for MERSA. Funny, I read somewhere that a child ended up having a severe staph infection somewhere in his throat area (possibly tonsils, can't quite remember) and once the staph infection was treated the fevers went away. Maybe there is some connection here?
