I haven't started making green smoothies yet, but today, when I went to make my usual banana, strawberry, blueberry smoothie, I thought I would add some greens in. All I had was a mixture of baby spinach and arugula (more arugula than spinach). I know it has a peppery taste so i wasn't sure how it would be, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked that peppery flavour, and it did really come thru! The sweetness and taste of the berries is there too, so the greens are prominent, but not overpowering. Here is how I made it if anyone is interested in trying it:(quantities are approximate)1/2 cup cranberry juicesplash of cold water1/2 banana1/4 cup frozen blueberries3/4 cup frozen strawberries 2 small handsfull of mixed baby spinach and arugula1 scoop vanilla flavoured protein powderEnjoy! :)Jagman2458 (Jim) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
