I was started at 70mg bid and that was too strong so on the advice of my ono and the medical college of Milwaukee who confered it was decided to put me on 20mg bid with the thought they could alway go to a higher dose. I am still on 20mg bid and in a deep remission. There are side effects such as bone and joint pain, heart palpations and occassionaly light headedness. The side effects are livable and I am used to them. Sprycel is a miracle drug so far. I realize things could turn on a dime but then there will be something else on the horizon. I am thankful for each day and that we now have these miracle drugs that makes living a long life a very real probablity. Best of luck to you.
