Guest guest
Hello all, I do not write often but still try to read everything. I am on AMN107 and on my last visit was told that I am in remission, SUPER NEWS! My problem is not one that I have seen much about, all the meds have combined and given my a special gift...a deep depression. I now have added a psychiatrist to my cast of characters. She advised that I try ECT's and against my better judgment, I agreed. ECT, bye the way, stands for Electro-Convulsive Therapy. Yes good old electric shock treatment. I was to have 12 but could only stand 10. I have wicked headaches, which are supposed to stop in time, in time for what is my question? Probably the most disturbing side effect is memory loss, I find this very disturbing, not remembering things that I have done or places I have been. Perhaps the worst is not being able to remember a word that I want to use when talking. Having been a salesman for over 40 years, talking was how I made my living! Thanks for reading my rant and anyone who has experienced this I would be grateful to hear about your experiences. Best regards, Terry
