Guest guest
Vertigo is the pits! Glad you are soon to be well again. From: barbarastanley@... Date: Fri, 3 Oct 2008 13:22:57 +0000 Subject: [ ] Vertigo explained - DUH!! Well after suffering for more than a week with vertigo, and adamantly assuming ( Dr. Stanley knows it all!) that the tasigna, the water retention and dizzy dame syndrom were all related to the drug, a visit to my primary care physician reveals I have a good old down home case of inner ear infection which was the reason for the sudden onset of vertigo. I am on antibiotics and should be fine in a few days ( although I am still dizzy with different positional directions. I am finding it strange I did not have pain with it. I just thought you all would want to know what the real culprit was. I do still believe it is possible that the water in the ear is from the water retention side effect of tasigna. Be well all of you and all good things, Barb _________________________________________________________________ Want to do more with Windows Live? Guest guest
Hi Barb, When I was on Gleevec, I had so many side effects; I got to where I wouldn't even tell the doctor. I just suffered through them. I know that these meds are doing a job on our bodies, but they are keeping us alive; so go figure. I had my ct scan, but the doctor never called me about it. I guess it was ok. The pain in my side is much better now. Thanks for worrying about me. Let us know how your ear gets and if the vertigo goes away. Blessings, Jeanie<3 In a message dated 10/3/2008 6:23:36 A.M.
