Salt Substitute -- Big Ick!

Hi Everyone!

I'm still gathering information about Sprycel and diet and metabolism and weight

gain. I should hear Monday about what Bristol Myers has to say. I called the

nurse liaison at my trial site in land today and she said she'd talk to BMS

today or Monday and call me back.

In the meantime I bought and tried two different salt substitutes and just have

to say that I cannot use them. They taste like the raw minerals they are and

NOTHING like salt. So, I'll just watch my salt intake and not eat prepared

foods so much since they're packed with salt. The goal is to get down to less

than 1,000 mg per day. Read the sodium content. That's to fight water

retention which Sprycel is famous for.
