Guest guest Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 Dear Amy, I have been a member of this group for several months now, and even though I heard of you through Zavie and Tracey, I never had the pleasure of reading one of your emails. You are one of the brave women who I'm sure against the advice of your doctor decided to have your baby. I'm sure he is a joy to everyone in your family. I have a grandson named Brent and he was a handful, but a lovely human - very sweet and loveable. He makes me laugh and I have always had a soft spot in my heart for him, because we were always close. I helped him with his homework when he lived with me and I wrote him letter after letter when he was in the National Guard. I had no idea that you lived so close. I live in Louisiana and I also go to MDACC. I was there in January, April, July and my next appointment is in October. I have been lucky - to be able to meet so many people from support groups right there at MDACC. That is where I met Bobby, but we had been corresponding before that. We have a race going on to see who will be in the most trials. LOL. Please post when you return, and someone may be there for their own appointment. Good luck with little Brent, he must be the apple of your eye. Congratulations on having a healthy, precious little boy to keep you running around.
