I believe the 6300 is the same or close to the new 500 model with the new motor

and pre set options.

The 6300 IS the Pro 500. I have a more detailed reply at the ready - but am waiting for a reply from my bosses at Vitamix about how much I can say. I just came back from a meeting at the Home Office and what we learn at those meetings isn't for public consumption - so I am waiting to hear what I can and cannot say…

I believe you meant to say the 6300 is the Pro 750.

It is Costco's exclusive version of that model that they are/will be selling.

Hello ,The 6300 really is the Costco version of the Pro 500. It does not have the new motor, the short, squat 64 oz. container, or the two new pre-set buttons (puree and clean). I just got back from the Home Office in Cleveland (training and a tour of the factory) and we all got to practice using the new machine, and the machines we practiced with were labeled Pro 500. And of course we discussed the new machines in detail.I can't wait to get my hands on the 7500 - that will be the Vitamix version of the Pro 300. I really don't want a Pro 750 because I don't like the pre-sets…Who told you the 6300 was a Pro 750?

I was told this by another demonstrator a little while ago. They obviously

misspoke (or didn't have the correct info at the time).

Thank you for clearing that up Lea Ann!

I've had the opportunity to play with the Elite and it is a joy! But it didn't

have the new 64 oz container. I'm also giddy about the 7500 and while I'm also

not a big fan of pre-sets either, I am interested in how the 750 pre-sets will

work compared to the 500.
