Guest guest
Well after suffering for more than a week with vertigo, and adamantly assuming ( Dr. Stanley knows it all!) that the tasigna, the water retention and dizzy dame syndrom were all related to the drug, a visit to my primary care physician reveals I have a good old down home case of inner ear infection which was the reason for the sudden onset of vertigo. I am on antibiotics and should be fine in a few days ( although I am still dizzy with different positional directions. I am finding it strange I did not have pain with it. I just thought you all would want to know what the real culprit was. I do still believe it is possible that the water in the ear is from the water retention side effect of tasigna. Be well all of you and all good things, Barb
Guest guest
Barb I have Menieres condition With the build up of fluid in the middle ear you can get vertigo That is why the way of eating being SSP - Salt Skip Program works by reducing sodium in your body. Less sodium less High Blood Pressure, glaucoma and all those impacts caused by diet and pressure within the head. All scientifically proven Drugs also play a part - and if you read the glivec side effects (even though you are not on glivec) it states vertigo is a side effect - why it does not state the reason but one would assume it is because of the fluid retention. Hope the antibiotics are A-OK You will possibly be a candidate when you get colds etc for vertigo and BPV, Benign Positional Vertigo or a mild Menieres condition so be aware and look for the triggers that can cause any vertigo. Have your blood pressure rechecked as well - Hope you are feeling better as the week passes - thinking of you I have not forgotten to contact you personally in relation to vertigo and Menieres - I just have got caught up with family this week .
