I just purchased my very first Vitamix! I just received it in the mail last week and have been using it religiously since. It’s taken me almost two years to finally take the plunge and purchase it. The price tag is a bit hefty for my budget but I can tell, even after only a week of using it, that I will have no regrets. It was money well spent. I have been making my boyfriend and I each a smoothie for breakfast to kick start our day! I have been experimenting with the infamous green smoothies with some mixed results. I was wondering if anyone could recommend what greens are best for beginners, good fruit to green ratios, etc. I think I was initially over doing it. I need to find the best way to slowly introduce the greens †" especially for the boyfriend who is a little hesitant about “adding leaves to his delicious fruit smoothieâ€. I know there is probably a lot of great advice already posted here, but as a new group member I fine all the info a tad overwhelming. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
