Guest guest
Hello, I just got my Vitamix and love it so far, however I need a recipe in order to do anything, I'm terrible at just " throwing " ingredients together..I know there are recipes in this group listed, but which one is the ONE smoothie/ice cream/soup for you? Thanks!
Guest guest
There are SO MANY that it is hard to choose from, but one of my favorites is the "guacamole smoothie", my Tortilla Soup, for the kids, the "Kindergarten Green Smoothie" (this one is on my website and not in the group's archives - links) Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)www.BlenderLady.com(AKA the Vitamix Lady :-)<))>< On Jul 26, 2012, at 7:47 AM, big_smile01 wrote: Hello, I just got my Vitamix and love it so far, however I need a recipe in order to do anything, I'm terrible at just "throwing" ingredients together..I know there are recipes in this group listed, but which one is the ONE smoothie/ice cream/soup for you? But I am more of the throw stuff type. I had big plans for putting the ingredients for my favorites in bags to be all ready and waiting. But I can't find a favorite. Every single one has been different. I am still working on fruit smoothies and love soup. I don't understand why I haven't done soup yet. But when I stand in front of the VitaMix I just grab what I know is so good. I have a pineapple to deal with today. I think I will try the mush thing and freeze it in 1/2 cup portions. ALDI's had them on sale for $1.29. I don't know about the leaving them lying on the counter won't ripen them. But it sure does make them smell better. It was green as a gourd when I brought it home. I bought three and would have bought more if I had been sure they would taste good.
