Blast phase

Dear Anita,

It must have been a harrowing experience to hear the words blast phase, even

without knowing anything about CML. Most of us were diagnosed in Chronic phase,

so you really don't know how long you had CML, or have they told you that?

Faith, courage and staying positive is your best insurance. I have seen some

people come out of impossible situations, and at one time I would have thought

they were goners. The longer I live with CML, the more positive I have become.

I'm glad you made it, because I have gained a wonderful penpal and friend.

Let's have a drum roll for Anita, she made it through one of the darkest parts

of CML. Thanks for telling us your story, it's what some of us need to hear

from time to time, lest we forget and lose our way. Anything is possible.
