Tip about Spinach and storage.spoilage

When I was watching a demo at Costco (and purchasing a Vitamix) the demonstrator

told me that a lady who had talked to her about Spinach said she buys the big

package (40 oz) at Costco and just putsin the freezer when she gets home. This

appealed to me because to buy the larger package is much more economical but I

have spoilage before I finish it. Well, I came home, put the Spinach into the

freezer and voila! The next morning when I wanted to make my first green

smoothie I got out the Spinach. It was frozen, not sticking together, breaks

like potato chips and works very well in the smoothie. I so glad I heard about

that trick!
