Dear China (No. 1137),

No, no, picking up an infection from an instrument is not crazy. All those

stethescopes are loaded with germs as the doctors go from room to room and

patient to patient. Here, they put a plastic one on your bed when you are

admitted and they use that while you are there and then dispose of it when you

are discharged. I wish they were so careful of everything else. Once when I

was in the hospital, they put me under quanantine until they were sure of what

I had because of a previous history with MRSA, and they would not come in my

room and bring my tray. I chided them for that, as I never heard them knock on

thse 4 " doors. They said they were not supposed to enter my room because they

might bring my germs next door. I said, " Hey, wait a minute, that woman comes

in here every day and mops my floor and goes next door and brings my germs, so

what is the difference? " She had no answer.

Thank you China, I am glad to be back. I really missed not being in contact

with this group. What a penance that was. My neighbor asked me today if I had

internet and when I said " yes " , she blew her stack. She still doesn't have it

and we have the same server. She said she was going to change servers, this was

the straw that broke the camel's back. We'll see what happens when she has

wireless.

How nice of Zavie to keep track of all the zeroes. Did you see the giant

posters he had of all the people in the Zero Club. We should ask Zavie if he

has them in the folders at the website with the other pictures. Yes, I feel

the same way you do, I woke up this morning, too. Some mornings are better than

others, but we are still here. Oh my, we have to look out for the ex's. Good

luck with your daughter going to high school. When I started high school, my

attitude completely changed toward everything, especially authority. LOL. I

never clashed with my mother, it was my father, grandmother and my teachers.

Blessings and prayers in return for yours,

Lottie
