Since no one responded, I'll try again and repost my message....

Hi everyone!

My name is and I've been lurking here for a couple months learning from

you all after purchasing my new and beloved vitamix. My question is for a

friend of mine.

My friend has a 2 1/2 year old little boy with Cystic Fibrosis. She constantly

struggles to get enough calories and nutrients in his little body and is trying

to avoid tube feedings if possible. She thought making high calorie,

nutrient-dense smoothies would be great for him. She was talking about getting

a Ninja and I told her about the vitamix. She is very interested but worried

about the cost with all of her liitle boy's medical bills and being that she has

three other children.

I thought I heard someone talk about a medical discount for the vitamix. Can

anyone tell me if she could get this and how much it would cost in the end? Any

and all details would be great so that I may pass it on to her! Thank you so
