Hi Zavie,

Your list is different. How in the heck are we to know what to take and what

not to take, the list changes. I was on Zocar after my heart attack and stroke,

but I went over my list and asked my doctor if I could stop taking Zocar and he

said I could. I took Sporonox (1 pill) and thought I was going to die. I

brought it back to the drug store and told the pharmacist that I knew that they

were allowed to take back meds you couldn't take and the drug maker would issue

a refund. Well, he took possession of the bottle and watched the rep flush them

down the toilet. This is a direct contradiction of what a pharmacist is

supposed to do to destroy meds. I was issued a refund check, but it was only

for about half, because the pharmacist kept his profit. I stopped doing

business there after that.

Now, as to the Cipro, I take it all the time for sinus infections. I take

Diltiazem for my heart and Xanax before I go to bed. I'm wondering what else is

out there that we should know about. I am no longer on Gleevec, but it is still

a TKI, however I do not have the same warnings.

It's good someone is watching out for our backs and it's not necessarily the

medical profession. Seems the pharmacist would know if there was a

contraindication and apprise us of that.

Blessings
