Guest guest
I went to U of M today to get a second opinion and to get info about being in a trial. Well, I don't qualify for the trial... yet. Maybe in another year he said. <http://geo./serv?s=97359714/grpId=14762801/grpspId=1705061628/msgI d=12656/stime=1225939317/nc1=5191948/nc2=5191951/nc3=4507179> I have to be in molecular remission for at least a year before they will let me in this trial. So, next September will be a year. For the GREAT news, as Dr. Erba was talking, he suggested that I haven't gotten the right tests... which I knew. He was so completely supportive of me being on the chat boards and learning from you guys. When I slipped and said Zavie... he knew who I was talking about. He said something about having to transfer care to U of M if I do get into a trial. I said, " Do I have to wait? Can we transfer care now? " " Sure! " he said. He handed me a copy of my lab results for today... and when he said that a nurse should call me a few days after I have blood draws with my test results - my hubby and I looked at each other and I laughed... " You are actually going to call ME and let me know test results? " Doc grinned. I am SO excited!! I know it took me too long to get a new doctor, but now that I have, I am so excited! It is a longer drive (2 hours each way). Tammy

Guest guest
Tammy, Doctor Erba has been my doctor for 3 years now and I am extremely pleased with him and his staff. Yes they do call with the blood work results, and blood work you have done the same day as your appointment you will get a copy before you leave.
