I visited today at the hospital and there is good news! She is

much better. She is off the respirator and breathing on her own. She has

no memory of the past few weeks while she was on the respirator and that is

a good thing. She knows her brother was with her, but she can't remember

seeing him. Her sense of humor is returning. She is still on a liquid

diet, but she wanted me to bring her a (forbidden) chocolate milkshake.

When the nurse told her she's not allowed to have chocolate milkshakes, she

told me (in front of the nurse) that they don't have to know everything!!

I'm thrilled that she's better. She still has a long way to go, but thanks

to everyone for their concern and prayers.
