Guest guest
I have been wanting to do green smoothies and was doing so for a brief period. I had trouble with bloating and had a bout of some pretty bad pain on the lower left side. Yesterday I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy ( to look for any issues re bleeding because I have been having trouble with anemia) and learned I have a mild dose of diviticulitis. I have been trying to look up information and have gotten really lost in it - so I figure I would turn to folks who are using green smoothies today - What is a good slow way to work into having them so as not to blow up my system with too much fiber? Anyone have experience using green smoothies and have divitiulitis? FYI I am not on a limited diet at this time as it is all 'behaving' and I am waiting for test results to find out if there is any infection in the system just as a precaution.
