Guest guest
Dear Tracey, This is a follow-up on yesterday's message about Cipro. I just received my script and the monograth says thusly: " This medication may rarely cause tendon damage (e.g., tendonitis, trendon rupture) during or after treatment. Your risk for tendon problems is greater if you are over 60 years of age, if you are taking corticosteroids (such as prednisone), or if you have a kidney, heart or lung transplant. Stop exercising, rest, and seek immediate medical attention if you develop joint/muscle/tendon pain or swelling. " There are also lawsuits over this. I have tendonitis in one shoulder and a torn rotator cuff in the other. I don't think there is to much difference in the pain level for either. Buyer beware, Lottie
