Hi Sue:  This sounds very interesting, and I will give you a question that I

have.  We have been fortunate to have all these different treatments available

since Gleevec.  I would like to know how close they are getting to developing

something to get to the root of CML.  Its been many months since I read an

article where they found that Feverfew kills the root of the leukemia, but they

were working on a durable compound that we could take that would work without

bad side effects.  The Batchelor Button Flower is Feverfew.  Never heard

anything more about it.

Good Afternoon All

I have been asked if I could put some questions together for a development of a

new 'Frequently Asked Questions' document that we can add to the Australian LF

CML booklet?

The Australian LF have already started but are wanting CML peoples input. I will

forward the acknowledgement in the front of the document.

I have quite a few questions that could be posed?

I would love to have all your input as well.

Not what LF would like asked but you as CMLers - not necessarily for newly

diagnosed but people who are living with the condition.

All questions are being forwarded to a medical and science team for their

response. Should be interesting.

What are the questions that you would like answered. Be it drugs, be it

reactions, be it the science aspect.

If you can help me that would be great.

Thanks Girls

I will forward your question.

Lottie has also sent two questions for me to onforward as well.

Tomorrow (Thursday)

Can you believe this - I cannot

The LF (Aust) has organised a teleconference for the Aust CMlers

so that we can talk to each other free of charge. There will be a

LF support person and they have also asked the CML Alliance Nurse

to be there so that we can ask questions on drug related issues.

Any questions for her that you wish me to convey do so asap

Next year - the Aust. LF is also going to develop and publish a special CML e -

newsletter -

We may be small in number so that will be fantastic that we can then send to one

and all.

Cheers

Sue
