Hi Kathy,

I totally do not get the log reduction part but I would say if you went from

2.086 to .005 that that is GREAT!!!

Someone will explain the log reduction part soon I am sure-Zavie is great

about that.

Aloha Sharon

Hi, not sure if my first note went anywhere so I'll try again.

I haven't posted in quite awhile, was diagosed in May in accelerated phase

and have been doing quite well on Gleevec after a rocky start. Just had my

second PCR test. The results of the 1st on 4/17/08 was 2.086. The second

on 10/8/08 and result is .005. Does this equate to about a 2-log reduction?

All my doctor said is that it is 100% better than the first. Thanks for your

help.

Kathy G.

Your doctor was wrong. This result is 1000 times better than the first one.
