Hi Tammy,

Isn't it funny how we tend to attribute everything to taking Gleevec? I have

had migraines for many years and then about 6 months ago they just stopped.

Do you think it was the Gleevec? So which is it? Does Gleevec cause

migraines or does it cure them.

My migraines were of the type where all I got was the aura. It would last

about 30 minutes and then leave me with a dull headache.

Lottie- I just went to the eye doc today to make sure the moving paths of

blinking lights in my eyes weren't something serious. He says, probably

ocular migraines. I don't get headaches, usually, just spots. But he ruled

out all the other bad stuff it could be.

Is this common with Gleevec? Can it just 'show up' after a year of being on

Gleevec? Just in the past week or 2 I have been having them almost every

day. Or at least every other day.

Greetings China,

Could you please explain what " accomodation " means and falling under ADA ?

The eye twitching is a real bummer, drives me crazy. Fortunately it doesn't

last forever, but I also have the silent migranes in my eyes, where I get

thee strange irregular shapes in the path of my vision. They are said not to

be serious, but who says it isn't bothersome?

When you find a single hem/onc, ask if he has a friend for our pal, Bobby.

She is available, and being a younger man is no problem, as long as he is

not looking for a nurse and a purse. LOL

Blessings of the season,

Lottie

Zavie -

It is WAY better to blame it on Gleevec than to blame it on caffine or

chocolate like the eye doctor wants to. :)

I know - I only had these migraines for like the last 2 years (about 6

months before diagnosis) and then only once every 3 months. Just recently

they are getting more and more frequent.
