Guest guest
Dear Anita, I'm sorry your mother passed away on Christmas eve, it must have been a terrible Christmas for the family. My mother died in December, too, it was 33 years ago today and it still hurts to think about her. She died of complications of a massive stroke, but lingered for 4 months. She was no longer the mother I knew, but a stranger, she lived in the past, like she was still living in her father's house. There is a season for everything and no one escapes death and taxes, not to mention heartbreak. You have a good Christmas, too with all of your family around you. We didn't have snow on the day she died, but all of her flowers were in bloom, including her roses. I think they were paying tribute to her for taking such good care of them. She was an avid gardener and had a green thumb and we all adored her. Love, Lottie
