Hi Hallf,

You will have to speak with your Dr as to why you are changing medications

but I am quite sure it is not because of the cost. I know many people on

Sprycel who have NO side effects whatsoever - and they had a lot of side

effects while on gleevec. Sprycel is a different drug therefore your body

will respond differently. It really depends on you. If you lost response to

gleeved or became intolerant - then sprycel may be a very good choice as its

is a much different TKI than gleevec.

Have been taken off Gleevec

Will be placed on Sprycel.

Is this because Sprycel cost less.

Sprycel seems to have many more side effects than Tarsigna
