Hi Bobby,

That is great news.

Thank you for participating in the trial. It is because of people like you

who endure the rigors of clinical trials that make it easier for those who

need these new drugs.. I am so grateful for all those who participated in

the early STI371 trials that made it easy for me.

Hi, I've been on XL228 now for 7 months, not much has changed. I just had

labs done, wbc - 2.7; hgb - 10.4; plt - 180, ANC 1.5. I am zero fish, and

qpcr is still .4 something. So as inconvenient as this infusion is, I

certainly can't complain, as it is working. I go for treatment this Wed.,

life is good, but I am looking forward to the new Ariad drug, it being a

pill and not an infusion. If the side effects are minimal we may try it.

That's it, Bobby

Bobby,

So glad to hear you're doing very well! I, too, hope they come up with a pill

for you. The infusion routine must get to be a real drag sometimes. You're so

good not to complain! May your counts continue to be so good!

Health and joy,

L
