Guest guest Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 Bobby, I can see a lab, and as long as you have a script from Dr. Talpaz you can go to a lab of your chosing, but be sure it is the same lab who uses the same equipment. I did this many times while traveling, I brought my scripts with me. Sometimes I was able to go to a lab and other times I had to go to a hospital. What was so expastering was I had to be admitted and had to hang around a half day, eating up my travel time Be sure the doctor writes on your script that y ou are to receive a copy, otherwise you will not be able to see it. Just ask someone who's done a lot of traveling and see how they handled it. Dr Cortes told me today to return in 28 days since there are no slots open yet in the Ariad for me. Has your doctor said when it would be open for you? I hope it's soon for you. I like to think it means i will enter the trial soon, or why waste her time? I don't know how often someone enters the trial,, but I will try and find out all that i can at the next visit.
