Guest guest Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 Because I know that many of your have corresponded with Hodor the last few years in several different list groups and some of you have become personally acquainted with her in Oregon, I want to let you know that she is very, very ill. She had what was supposed to have been a minor surgery about 2 ½ weeks ago, but there were major complications. While she was in surgery, she also suffered a heart attack. She has not recovered as well as hoped. This afternoon she went into respiratory arrest and has been moved back into ICU. She is in Methodist hospital here in San . So sorry to hear this has happened. Despite her age, she has been very active. They took her off the respirator yesterday morning, but had to put her back on it yesterday afternoon. Her brother from Georgia is with her now. She was not in pain, but was obviously frustrated with being unable to communicate. She is able to write notes. I told her that I had contacted the list group and that everyone was praying for her. That seemed to give her peace. Please continue your prayers. is a very private person and I don’t feel comfortable posting her address on the list group, but if you will write to me personally, I will give it to you. I hope you understand and continue to pray for her. What she is going through is unbelievably difficult.
