Vertigo input?

I am up early this morning. I had another attach yesterday AT SCHOOL

right at the end of the day. I had to have someone drive me home. I

discovered I forgot to take my mantainence dosage of meclazine

yesterday morning. It appears if I stay on diazide ( water pill that

depletes the extra water and not pottasium) and if I take one 25 mg.

meclazine pill in the morning, I don't get attacks. I had tried to

get off of diazide last week and I think that triggered the fluid,

vertigo and joint pain.

I have read in the tasigna medication guide that it possibly causes

fluid to build around the heart and lungs. It doesn't mention other

places. It has been my personal side effect with gleevec and now

tasigna, to have fluid build up within the joints... and in the inner

ear I beleive. It appears that my personal 'side-effect-of-choice "

on any BCR ABL inhibitor is going to be water retention of some kind.

My doc said everybody'd different.Wow, I really want to be different!!

My questions are these: does anyone here have vertigo that you

believe is directly related to the drugs?

And, if so, what do you do to treat it? I have tried the exercises

Bobby gave me ( posted on the files section here) and they work some.

I also am doing low salt, no caffine, alchohol, treating it like a mid

life disease and not drug related. I am doing all I can.

What info or suggestions would you all have?

Love and peace

Barb
