Bobby and Lottie

Thanks for the well wishes. I went to that site as well Lottie and found

it most helpful. That is where I learned about all the things I

shouldn't have......But I really am rethinking the wine. . . . .

Love to all

LOL. According to the Meniere's handbook, it most commonly affects men

and women between 20 and 50, so you should not be getting it. LOL. The

handbook also says that eliminating alcohol, coffee and salt may help

make attacks less frequent and eliminating tobacco and stress may make

them less severe. Medication can reduce the symptoms and several

surgical options are also available. When I had it, the surgery also

left you deaf.

symptoms, including vertigo or severe dizziness, tinnitus or a roaring

sound in the ears, fluctuating hearing loss, and the sensation of

pressure or pain in the affected ear. The disorder usually affects only

one ear and is a common cause of hearing loss. Named after French

physician Prosper Ménière who first described the syndrome in

1861.

endolymph moves, causing nerve receptors in the membranous labyrinth to

send signals to the brain about the body's motion. An increase in

endolymph, however, can cause the membranous labyrinth to balloon or

dilate, a condition known as endolymphatic hydrops.

tinnitus, and hearing loss lasting several hours. People experience

these discomforts at varying frequencies, durations, and intensities.
