Guest guest
Hi Barb, Glad you are feeling better. I know the feeling, was bedded down with it for a month. Couldn't move or even open my eyes. Caffeine is one of the worst things, next to sodium. I remember the doctor telling me all the things I couldn't have and I cried out, " But that is what I live on. " When we moved to Dallas, the doctor wouldn't give me any medication for it, he wanted me to learn how to eat better. I called my pharmacist back home and he said it was illegal to ship the meds across the border back then (early 60's). Good for any edema, too. When I started drinking de-caf coffee, I felt immediate relief. Be a good girl and follow the instructions. I used lemon juice instead of salt. I hate the salt substitutes, I could swear it tasted like poison. Stay away from condiments, they are full of sodium. You may have recurring bouts with it, but eventually it will go away. Take care. xoxox Lottie
