An excerpt from the article, but relative to everyone, no matter what your

illness is.

Another key piece is -- and I have only learned this over the years -- you have

to be your own advocate. As hard as it is, if you're not happy with something,

you need to speak up. And it's okay to speak up. I remember thinking at first,

" I can't ask that. " But then I learned, " Yeah, I can ask that. " You're talking

about your body; you're talking about your health.

What a nice story, a about such a young women!

Are you familiar with that bruising she mentioned? According to Anjana & Roy's

web-site, there is another women who runs into the brusies with 400mgs.

of Gleevec.

I think you and I had this discussion before. It is a vein or arteries in your

leg

that burst into the skin of one's leg, and before it burst, one may run into

severe pain.

According to A & R, they call it the blood plasma, and someone on their site

said she was tested on the blood plasma. What type of test take place and what

is it called, so I can bring the article to my Oncologist, for future outbreaks?

Thanks,

Dory Doggie
