Guest guest
Dear Lynn, Isn't it so funny that something we wanted so bad at one time (boobs) becomes something we cover and try to hide. After this is over I want to write a piece about life with large breasts and back again. The social experience of being both flat and having implants and then getting them out (soon!) is rather fascinating in regards to the way I have seen myself and the way I have been treated by others. I'm glad your explant is happening so soon! Its totally natural to be nervous about surgery- I always am!! Have faith that you will be fine and heal quickly. I spend time visualizing myself having already had the surgery and being healed and healthy. This helps me to be brave. Who is your explanting Dr?? I know you have probably already told us, but like alot of other women here, I get the brain fog and confuse details easily. Guest guest
Dianne ~ You are a strong and remarkable person too, and I am so blessed to have you in my life now. My nephews were born in Port CoQuitlan BC, and their aunt lives in Toronto, and my brother in laws parents live there too part time and part time in the states. They are all such wonderful people ! I was so sick from these safe silicones back when my sister and all lived in Canada, and I never was able to make it there, but have seen so many wonderful pictures of Canada's beauty. When my sister had her first, she had taken Texas soil up in a jar, and they didnt know, and when she delivered she put the soil under the bed at the hospital so he would be born over Texas soil, isnt that funny??? but anyway, they confiscated the soil and did a newspaper spot on the ordeal it was really kewl. I still have the article. Anyway, you will be in good hands while under anesthesia. Nothing better than God holding you in his arms again. You will get the best sleep you have had in years ! Guest guest
Dianne, I wish there was a way to take away your fear . . . Just know you're going to come through though... We've seen some horribly sick women go thorough the surgery .. . ALL of them have come through fine. . . Some feel better very quickly, others take a while . . . Compared with putting your implants in, this one will be amazingly easy. Please take very good care of yourself between now and next Friday .. think beautiful thoughts . . . keep busy doing things you enjoy. . . . You'll be there before you know it! Guest guest
Oh Dianne, I too can't wait until my husband can see the woman he married (minus the boobs). I am typically in bed the majority time if I am at home. I just feel better in bed. The aches and pains seem to be less. It is my comfort zone away from anxiety. It seems silly but I have difficulty doing basic household chores, such as laundry without getting fatigued. I am so exicted for you and look forward to hearing from you post- surgery. Guest guest
Hi Lynn I too find it very difficult to do the most basic things, i get so out of breath and tired and ache all over. My comfort zone is also my bed as the pain and everything is much less. I just can;t wait for this nightmare to be over. And when it is over for me i will be using all my effort to warn other girls here in England of the dangers of breast implants. Thanks Lynn and the very best of luck to you too Dianne xx --- spinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: > Oh Dianne, > > I too can't wait until my husband can see the woman > he married (minus > the boobs). Guest guest
Just returned from my 2nd opinion appt with another vet. She was so good and helpful! Poor Clover was terrified to be back at the vet after everything she's been through this week and really put up a struggle during the examination. There is still some mystery about the mass that showed up on the x-ray, but this other vet doesn't think it is in her stomach. It might possibly be soft tissue calcification... familiar to us that have had breast implants! Now I will wait for her to heal up from her surgery (which the vet agreed could have been avoidable), and see if she gets better from her original ailment. It has been suggested that I take her for an ultrasound to further investigate the mass. I am happy to report that I had such a great experience with this new vet and I will continue to have her care for my cat from here on. She was informative, thorough and didn't try and sway me into any further tests or treatments. The whole clinic was full of friendly, helpful women vets and technicians! Thank you for all of your well wishes and support throughout this week! Katy:) Lea <devans@...> wrote: Kenda and Katy, I would have seven cats too, but said no.
